Toelichting
EFTRE staat voor The European Forum for Teachers of Religious Education.
Voertaal is Engels.
CONFERENCE 2010 "Challenging Religious Education - Poverty and Social Inclusion as European Issues"
The conference will be in Bruges, Belgium from August 25th to 28th, 2010 The EFTRE conference is aimed at those working with teachers of Religion, Citizenship or Ethics in schools across Europe. You might be a teacher in a school, a teacher educator, an advisor of teachers or a researcher into RE teaching. The pattern of the conference can be seen on the programme page and we are happy to take submissions for workshops or displays.
Please put the date into your diary, book a place, and let others in schools, teacher organisations and other groups know about the conference. We are always looking for sponsorship for the conference and would be willing to talk to organisations or groups who would like to offer sponsorship.
The conference website is now taking bookings for the 2010 conference. Some key information is below and more can be found on the website.
The conference fee has been set at € 270 which includes all conference activities including trips and meals (including conference dinner but excluding Thursday evening which is a free evening to explore Bruges). The fee does NOT include accommodation or travel to the conference. There are some scholarships available see the website for details.
